Hayabusa 4oz mma glove

Introduction:

Well lets first start this off by saying that i've owned these gloves for almost two years now, and ive put them through hell and theyre still as good as when i first got them. I hit the heavy bag with them almost daily, with and without wraps, and ive never broken or sprained anything in my hands thus far.

Aesthetics:

Now im sure everyone knows what they look like, but if you didnt i'll give you the jist. They come in both black and white, with red piping, with their main logo across the middle of the back of your hand, and the perigrine falcon is featured on the velcro. It is all very clean looking, simple and classy, yet with eye-catching properties.

Fit:

Now like any glove when you first put it on its a little stiff but after a good hour or so they fit like a glove(no pun intended). The "y" shape that they have for the palm area feels great, much better than the official UFC gloves. It holds your thumb perfectly in place while still allowing you to grapple just fine. The gloves also sport a two way velcro closure system which keeps your wrist very well supported, even when throwing your hardest punch at the craziest of angles on the bag. All in all I wish all gloves had the same feel as these.

Functionailty:

Ive personally used these gloves to hit heavy bags, training pads and sparred with them. They hold up great with anything you use them for. As mentioned before I own the white pair and have been hitting a black heavy bag for two years now and there hasnt been a single rip, tear, anything. They honestly look as good as the day I bought them. In short YES you can use them for everything.

Final thought:

I cant help but rave about these gloves, they have been my go to pair for two years now and plenty more to come. If you want a pair of mma gloves that will serve you everywhere and never let you down and any situation then buy these. Yes they may be one of the more expensive gloves on the market, but are worth every single penny.

So since people like ratings, I give these gloves an overall 9.5/10. they get -0.5 because nothing is perfect, although these puppies come as close to it as possible.

PS, I want you guys to know I am not sponsered by anyone, what you just read is completely MY oppinion and no one else's.

Thanks guys

Product reviews

Hey guys, I just ordered a few things from six deuce(62) and plan to review them when it arrives. Buu until then I plan to (in the next few days) review some of the gear I've been using for awhile now. This consists of hayabusa shorts and 4oz mma gloves, two pairs of tapout shorts, a pair of warrior shorts, a pair of cageside mma vale tudo shorts, a UFC heavy bag and kimurawear 16oz gloves and their gym bag. So in short lots of things to write about.

Also I'm waiting for a pair of shorts from a new company that looks extremely promising with very fresh designs, with an awesome owner. They are called Abilty MMA. Check em out on twitter @abilitymma, their website isn't up and running yet but should be in a few weeks time should everything go well for them, I hope them the best and can't wait to roll in the new shorts.

Take care guys, and don't forget, follow me on twitter @KyleRyznarMMA.

Thank you for reading.

UFC Live: Cruz vs Johnson

It is October 1st, and the bantamweight belt is on the line. now in my experience the free UFC cards tend to be better then most of the ppv's, which makes me slightly upset but i suppose its to attract more casual fans. anyways on to the actual fights.

the first bout of the main televised event is Matt Wiman vs Mac Danzig, both relatively well know fighters. now this is a a big rematch for Wiman as he has already controversial lost to Danzig back at UFC 115 due to bad reffing.

round 1 -  both come out strong, wiman throwing a few leg kicks followed by clinching, where it seems danzig is more the aggressor here. danzig throws a head kick wiman  takes him down danzig throws a flurry wiman recovers and gets aggressive a lot of clinching very fast pace danzig nose is bleeding both throwing heavy hands ends with wiman getting a take down

round 2 - wiman takes the centre danzig counters wimans wild punches danzig take down danzig ground and pounding, wiman throws up a triangle attempt followed by a switch to an arm bar wiman lets it go and danzig punishes him a little. wiman makes a kimura attempt danzig defends it well and wiman lets him go wiman gets up and danzig throws a flurry wiman looks tired but still throwing hard and pushing forward, these to a giving it all wiman shoots for a take down but way too slow good elbows from the clinch in the final seconds

round 3 - wiman comes out pushing the pace swinging away clinch game lots of elbows danzig eating most of them but has a few good counters of his own wiman fails on the take down again wiman looks gassed but is still throwing hard danzig sprawls the take down and takes top then takes his back punishing wiman danzig slides off the top and wiman ends up on top and gets to half guard and dropping huge elbows danzig back to guard but bleeding bad and a hemotoma over his right eye danzig gets up clinching and wiman drops for a take down and danzig goes for a guillotine and wiman holds on for the bell.

i personally score this fight 29-28 for wiman just for pushing the pace the entire fight and he seemed to do more damage, but we'll see what the judges have to say. and i was right the judges score it exactly the same.. the crowd doesn't seem to agree though. i can see these two having a third match in the future

next up is Anthony rumble Johnson vs the Spaniard charlie brenneman. now it was a surprise to me seeing Johnson make weight as he usually doesn't, but anyways Johnson coming off a win over Dan hardy seems to be taking a step down the ladder in fighting brenneman who just came off a huge upset over the highly favoured rick story. in my opinion i think the bigger stronger Johnson will dominate this fight but brenneman cant be underestimated here.

round 1 - rumble looks much much bigger and hes looking to use the power...brenneman looks for a take down and rumble sprawls and hold him down and punishing him with knees and hammer fists  charlie rolls to his back and looking for an arm in guillotine and he loses it and  Johnson throws a head kick which stuns charlie, then rumble throws another perfect head kick and drops him but charlie doesn't look out but yamasaki ends it anyways

Anthony rumble Johnson wins by umm temporary knockout since brenneman never went out, that's all should be interesting to see what they declare the finish as, its declared as a TKO apparently.

next up is i believe the biggest height difference in a ufc fight so now its the tallest heavyweight vs the shortest heavyweight, Stefan skyscraper Struve standing at 6'11 vs Pat HD Barry standing at 5'11. the two have been friendly and at most time comical is there back and forth banter on twitter. so this should be an interesting fight since Barry is generally known as a kick boxer so struve will be a challenge to throw a head kick at but should be very easy to throw some devastating leg kicks.

round 1 - both feeling each other out, so far just a few kicks have been thrown Barry being the aggressor struve using his reach to keep his distance Barry throws a head kick that hit the chest, theses guys looks awkward fighting each other, not much happened for the most of the round in the last few seconds they each throw a flying knee at each other Barry with a giant smile on his face while doing it.

round 2 - Barry tags struve early on but not much damage, struve is easily throwing head kicks, and Barry is throwing leg kicks in an attempt to chop down the tree Barry looks to be more comfortable here then struve does and seems to be doing the most damage, struve throws a flurry the drops for a guillotine falls to the ground and struce slaps on a triangle in which Barry picks up struve and slams him but struve still gets the submission finish

struve with the win here beautiful jiu jitsu by the Dutchman, it was a boring first but I'm glad to see a finish for one of there great guys.

and now the final fight of the evening the main event for the bantamweight belt, Dominic the decisionator

round 1 - both guys looking extremely fast both attacking Johnson looks for a take down but Cruz stuffs it and punishes him, Cruz then throws him and gets side control Cruz looking to mount but Johnson moves to butterfly guard up against the cage and stand up Johnson being extremely aggressive and throws a head kick in which Cruz takes him down to side control Johnson gets up and takes Cruz down but he gets us easily the two then have a few exchanges to end the round standing

round 2 - Johnson pushes in fast but gets taken down by Cruz Johnson gets up and puts Cruz on the cage Johnson shoots for the take down but gets stuffed Cruz has him against the cage Johnson looking to take Cruz down but cant Johnson seems much faster and throws a flying knee missing Cruz Johnson still getting his take down attempts stuffed but Cruz easily takes him down and ends the round on top

round 3 - again Johnson coming out fast pushing the pace Cruz attempts a take down but Johnson shakes it but Cruz takes his back and slams him stays on his back and has flattened him out and looking for a rear naked choke but Johnson spins out Cruz is still looking for e finish but Johnson gets out and they're standing Johnson puts the pressure back on Cruz is getting tired it seems Johnson is connecting more Cruz gets a take down and is just laying on top on him against the cage Johnson gets up and has Cruz in a clinch against the cage and that's where the round ends

round 4 - this time Cruz looks to be the aggressor but Johnson throws some leg kicks there's some decent small exchanges on the feet occurring nothing exciting more dancing than anything and then Cruz gets a take down and again is laying and praying Cruz gets the mount but Johnson gets back to guard and stands up and pushes the pace again but Cruz eventually gets the take down and ends up in side control of which Johnson gets up again to end the round standing.

round 5 - the blistering pace continues but Cruz suplexes Johnson and ends up in side control not doing much Johnson moves to half guard to full guard Johnson pushing himself to get his back on the cage and stands himself up Johnson lands a few good hits exiting the clinch and Cruz gets a beautiful trip but Johnson gets up and Cruz tosses him again and Johnson gets back up Jonson pushes Cruz and Cruz gets a nice take down and moves to full mount and Johnson turns and Cruz takes his back but Johnson shakes him off the exchange a little but Cruz ultimately takes him down and ends the fight on top.

in my opinion a good fast paced fight but at the same time very boring and repetitive, but that's not unusual for Cruz. the fight is easily a 50-45 for Cruz, but who knows what the judges have to say. and it seems the judges agree and Cruz remains the ufc bantamweight champ.

side note - I'm sorry if the grammar isn't perfect and the spelling isn't the best but i was writing this completely on the fly during the fight so hope you guys enjoy please feel free to comment.

thanks guys
